Scoopex Sweden memberlist from 1991

Excerpt from memberlist I think the idea to start Scoopex Sweden (again, see the BIG demo) was put forward by Uno, since he knew Reward and called him all the time. I remember visiting Uno and his big brother Invid, watching some graphics he'd made for Scoopex on his A1000 on his kitchen table (if I remember correctly).

I had met Uncle Tom at numerous copy parties when he was in Razor 1911 and he did some graphics for one of my Phenomena demos before. I'd visited him in Stockholm a bunch of times and apart from being a manic music genius, winning every music compo, he was and is a good friend.

Judas was good at math and really a quite good coder, although he didn't do lots of demos on the Amiga to show it. I only visited him once, he had just bought that new-fangled Enya album and as soon the CD changed to another track, I said, 'There's that song again', ignoring his protests. :) At the time, all of them sound a bit like 'Silent Night'. I remember it was dark and cold and he lived high up in an apartment building and I was a bit jealous of him, he'd sat his Amiga on a desk in front of a huge window with a great view!

Invid was our friendly organizer and swapper, funnelling goodies from other Scoopex branches and other groups to the floppy junkies among us :) Redskin was new to the gang and ran the Lost Soul's Domain, which Uno made a logo for. Rumor has it the skull was modeled after Uncle Tom's Schwarzenegger slash Neanderthal-like jawbone ;)

Uncle Tom's first piece of music for Scoopex Sweden was Tubular, obviously inspired by Mike Oldfield (but much better in my ears). It was intended for a scene in Stunner that had vector tetrahedrons.

As you can see, lots of talent existed in the Stockholm suburb of Bandhagen. :)

For myself, I had started building parts for Stunner just before I released ScrewBalls for Phenomena, I think it was just after that release I visited Uno and Invid and Slayer called him and wanted to talk to me ;) When we started the "new old Scoopex Sweden", I got the inspiration to change handle to "Protech", emulating of course Promax that I had talked to quite a bit on the phone.  Bad idea, said everyone. So I stuck with being a cool zippy light particle :)

The forming of Scoopex Sweden should be *very* early 1991. Probably, it was on Xmas break 1990/1991 that I visited Judas. Whether the group was formed before 1991 I don't know, but in any case, this is the complete memberlist of Scoopex Sweden in 1991.
